Botulinum toxin commonly known as BotoxR helps to relax the muscles responsible for expression wrinkles such as those between the eyebrows, on the forehead and crow’s feet. It can also be used on the lower face to reduce marionette lines, wrinkles around the mouth, wrinkles on the neck and relax the platysmal cords of the neck that cause the lower face to sag. On the lower face, it is generally associated with hyaluronic acid injections.

This treatment can be performed throughout the year and does not require an anaesthetic. The product lasts three to four months. This treatment is suited to all phototypes.
Mesobotox is also possible. In this case multiple injections at an extremely low dose are injected into different parts of the face.
Botulinum toxin is also used as a treatment for underarm hyperhidrosis. Following treatment, sweating will be considerably reduced for up to about four months.
